Goals of the 1998 Expanding Your Horizons Conference
- To encourage girls to study math and science
- To increase awareness of the options available in non-traditional careers
- To meet women whose careers depend upon math, science, engineering and technology
Student
Program Schedule
Girls are assigned to small groups, each led by a female CU college student
for the whole morning. Each group attends the Career
Fair, and two Student Workshops. About
250 girls attend the conference.
